yes i haven't posted in four weeks... my camera kicked the bucket a month ago. and, the new one i want is rather expensive so i'm waiting on that. so, we've had to record every life happenings lately on my video camera, which has been fun, but i am more of a camera person so it's hard! plus i have no idea whatsoever how to download that onto here.....
bummer! because lots has happened. for halloween kaiden was a doctor and asher was a firefighter. they looked so cute and that night was so fun. we carved pumpkins for the first time hahaha!
then, my baby turned TWO!!!!!!!!! i am still in shock he is all ready two. it has been the fastest two years of my LIFE.
i love my asher so stinkin' much. some days he exhausts me to the bone with his energy and exploits, but i still dig him.
i love how every morning when i eat my breakfast even though he has all ready had his (i don't like to eat as early as they do so i'm eating about an hour later) he'll sneak over and scoot a chair right next to mine and by the end of my meal he has stolen half of it. he insists on trying whatever i am eating.
kaiden is the picky eater, who is EXACTLY like jon in his tastes and wants (aka all things traditional and bland, sorry jon). asher is definately a lewis in the fact he'll eat anything new and different.
he is the dancer of the century all day long. any beat he hears he is jammin out. even some random classical song i am practicing on the piano he'll stand on the bench next to me and jiggy. i know i am really prejudice being his mom but i think he has the most amazing blue eyes ever and is so cute!!
ash is a tease all day long. he loves trying to get a laugh from anyone. he is also a cuddler which i love. i love getting asher hugs. i love hearing him learn how to talk and communicate and see his personality come out every day.
asher has such a sweet spirit and good heart. he cares about his family and is happiest home with mom and dad and kaiden just hanging out. he loves reading books and of course listening to music.
i know i should make him get rid of his nuk, but i can't. i am more attatched to it than him because i don't want him to grow up! hey, i have been strong and limited it to bed-time only.
the other sunday he tried to sneak one to church. i said "asher give me your nuk" asher says "why" i said "cause if you're old enough to ask WHY then THAT's WHY"
still, it is so funny when he happens to find one laying around and i hear him yell in glee "OH A NUK OH YAY" and i think it is cute so i don't go take it away. he tries to talk with it, which is funny, he slides it over to the side of his mouth and says what he needs to say they slides it back into place. ah well, a pacifier isn't so bad, i'll take it away soon..... maybe......
he is a joy of my life.
